Vincent and Thomas Quinn
Due to its excellent reputation, popularity among consumers and premium returns, Vincent Quinn identified Irish Angus as the breed which would sustain his farm for his son Thomas’s future.
Vincent Quinn, together with his son Thomas, operate the family farm in Abbeylara, Co Longford. Vincent was motivated to switch to Angus farming when he became aware of the consumer interest in Certified Irish Angus beef products. For Vincent, knowing that the demand for the product was out there, along with the fact that Certified Irish Angus was being sold as a Tesco finest* brand and that Certified Irish Angus were offering a premium for this product made it a win-win.
So we went along this route and we’re very happy with the return that the producing Certified Irish Angus is providing.
