Why Irish Angus Beef?

Flavour

As natural foragers, Irish Angus thrive on lush open pastures where they are free to find the sweetest grasses, wild herbs and natural clovers. Their unique grazing habits impart a superior flavour profile and tenderness to their beef.

Quality

Our award winning Certified Irish Angus beef is synonymous with excellence. This premium breed produces tender and flavoursome beef which is fully traceable back to the farm. It is also Bord Bia Quality Assured, meaning it meets the highest quality standards at every stage of the process.

Marbling

Certified Irish Angus beef is renowned for its natural marbling. The meat naturally features flecks of fat which provide enhanced flavour, juiciness and adds a succulence to the meat. This also allows the beef to stay juicy during cooking, giving the best possible taste.

Ease of Cooking

Our Certified Irish Angus beef steaks require little or no preparation to cook and can be pan-fried in minutes. Our diced, minced, roast or joints cuts are the perfect addition to any recipe for a host of delicious dishes which are simple to prepare.

Sustainability

Certified Irish Angus animals are reared in small herds by small-scale farming families who are passionate about farming and have the utmost respect for the land. We recognise that as beef farmers we need to go even further to cut our carbon emissions and so, we encourage our members to take additional carbon reducing measures. All Certified Irish Angus Beef is Bord Bia Quality Assured under the Sustainable Beef and Lamb Assurance Scheme (SBLAS) and our processor partners are Bord Bia Origin Green certified.
