Thank you to everyone who joined us for our pioneering Farming for Water field event last week.

We wanted to highlight the supports available to farmers via the European Innovation Partnership project (funding of €60m); and to set out a framework to achieve the targets in order to restore water bodies to good chemical and ecological status 🌱

We held the field event on the Lynch family’s farm due to their location along the banks of the Borora river on the Cavan and Meath border. Teagasc and the Local Authority Waters Programme highlighted this catchment as a key area of focus, as its current Moderate status demonstrates that the river is experiencing slight levels of pollution.

We are grateful to our partners @abpdemofarm, @kepak_group, @teagasc and @lawaters.ie for sharing their expertise and guidance.
