Certified Irish Angus Miso Round Roast with Crispy Kale
Beef Cut: Round Roast
Cooking Time: 1 hour
- 1.3kg Round Roast
- 2 Tbsp Miso paste
- 1 Tbsp Mirin
- 200g Kale chopped
- 1 white onions roughly chopped
Preheat your oven to 220C/200C fan/gas mark 7. Combine the miso and mirin into a paste and brush all over the beef.
Place beef into a large baking tray. Cover with tinfoil and place into the hot oven for 20 mins.
After 20 mins, remove from the oven and baste the beef and add the chopped onions. Reduce the oven temp to 180C/160C fan/gas mark 4 and cook for 30 mins.
Remove the beef from the baking tray and place on a chopping board and cover with tinfoil.
Add the kale to the roasting tin, drizzle with the oil and toss together with any juices and the onions in the tin. Roast for 8-10 minutes until cooked and crispy at the edges.
Slice the beef and serve with the crispy kale and onions.
