Sauces for serving: Chimmichurri
A zingy green herb dressing from South-America. This light sauce is a perfect accompaniment for a richer cut of Certified Irish Angus steak like a rib-eye.
Beef Cut: Any
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
- 1/2 bunch curly or flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- ½ bunch coriander, chopped
- 1x tsp dried oregano
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 shallot, chopped
- ½ tsp dried chilli flakes
- 2½ tbsp olive oil
- juice ½ lemon
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir well before serving. Use a blender to prepare the sauce alternatively.
SERVING SUGGESTION: This versatile dressing can be used as a marinade before cooking, or to drizzle over a steak when serving.
